Task: Brand Naming, Branding & Identity, Communication, UX Research
Established since 1970 and with a family business origin, Raypa, leader in the laboratory technologies market approached us to update their brand according to the present. Instead of a simple logo update we decided to do a complete brand renewal based on the values of cleanliness and modernity.
Inspired by the flasks used in laboratories, it gives to the brand a special character, emphasizing the character of the letter “a” present in the two names brand´s owners. It is used within the brand itself or as an isolated element, both in printed and digital environments. Based on the typography used in the logo and the aperture degrees of the imagotype´s diagrams, we created a grid that serves to generate a representational language of its own, embodied in a system of icons and numbers designed exclusively for Raypa with the aim of using them in catalogs, interior signage.
We create an information system flexible enough to be applicable in the different typologies of catalogs and documents, both printed and online, in line with the positioning grid of the icons next to the logo with the aim of creating a consistent and uniform brand.
